Peter Williamson is a professional golfer turned entrepreneur who uses his deep knowledge of games, design, and philanthropy to catalyze change in communities. He co-founded Barometer XP, a consultancy firm that leverages the power of play to help improve workplace culture and employee development. He also leads a nonprofit called Game Genius, which offers creative capacity as a way to make social impact more fun for organizations in the Washington DC region. Peter has a BA in Studio Art and Geography from Dartmouth College.

Toby Irving is the Training Organizer for the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee. She has worked across justice-based issues as an organizer and educator, beginning as a youth organizer and finding roles in food justice, police accountability, faith-based organizing, and, of course, the labor movement. She has a background in employment law and a master’s degree in political science from the CUNY Graduate Center and has taught at Baruch College.

Jessica Meis is a Museum Curator at the Batavia Depot Museum in Batavia, IL and adjunct instructor at Aurora University in Museum Studies. She holds a Bachelor's in Art History & Latin American Studies from Cornell College and a Master of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago. Jessica currently serves as President of NEMPN and on the board of the Kane DuPage Regional Museum Association. In all of her work, Jessica is passionate about making the arts and humanities accessible and engaging, while fostering inclusive, community-centered museum practices.

Elizabeth Shaw began organizing while working at Glenstone, a contemporary art museum in Potomac, Maryland. EWOC's foundational course helped reignite Glenstone's union drive and encouraged us to build a more sustainable structure. Although she no longer works at Glenstone, she continues to support GMWU and supports other organizing campaigns as a volunteer organizer and facilitator with EWOC. She has a background in anthropology and museum studies and currently resides in Chicago, working for The American Scholar.

Sierra Van Ryck deGroot is the Associate Educator, Academic and Research Programs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has a BA in Art, Design, and Interactive Media, Fine Art, and Art History from Seton Hall University and a MSEd in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education. Sierra is the former co-president of the National Emerging Museum Professionals Network, a current board member for ArtTable and on the nominating committee for the National Council on Public History. On her free time, Sierra can be found reading, visiting a museum, or participating in many side quests related to advocating for salary transparency, actionable equity in hiring practices, the abolition of unpaid internships, and the practice of rest for all museum workers.

Elin Filbey is a career coach and museum education professional who supports arts and culture workers in building sustainable, values-aligned careers. She is the founder of Deaccessioned Career Coaching and holds a master’s degree in Museum Education from The George Washington University. An Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, Elin brings extensive experience designing and leading educational programs and understands firsthand the realities of museum work.

Ross Edelstein (He/Him) is the CEO of Autism.  He is an award-winning consultant, activist, advocate, and scholar on disability particularly in cultural institutions.  His work focuses on making spaces welcoming for Disabled people, particularly neurodivergent people, and he has worked with organizations ranging from local and national level museums, state parks, the National Park Service, transportation systems, research teams, and service organizations around the world.

Asami is an art educator, doctoral candidate, and artist committed to advancing equity and innovation in art museum education. As the co-author of "Language Inclusion in Museums", she is committed to advocating for Spanish‑language inclusion, anti‑ableist and anti‑racist practices, and the preservation of Latino culture in museum spaces.

Haydn is an experienced Social and Digital Marketing strategist who has worked primarily with arts and non-profit organisations. Haydn has led successful marketing campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola and Unilever and worked with more than 400 cultural organizations in the UK and USA, including the Southbank Centre, the Brooklyn Museum, and the National Civil Rights Museum. He frequently speaks and delivers workshops on social media best practices within the arts. He has been featured in the Arts Newspaper, spoken at Museum Next, delivered workshops for Bloomberg Philanthropies, and been a guest lecturer for the Royal Academy of Arts Executive Master Programme.

Sasha oversees the Alliance’s expansion into advocacy and resource development for the economic stability and mobility of individual artists and creative workers. Her previous experience in systems-level improvements include workforce training and placement design for job-seekers facing employment barriers, employer policy & practice change to increase worker retention and engagement, and public/private cross-sector partnerships to achieve common quality of life goals. Sasha holds an Economics degree from DePaul University and is a member of the 2019 Chicagoland Workforce Leadership Academy, an Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Fellowship initiative.

Alli Schell is a former small museum professional turned museum career coach and is the founder of Your Museum Career Coach, LLC. She works with and supports museum professionals at all levels during the competitive job search process as well as educates organizations nationwide on strengthening their hiring practice and building sustainable career pathways. Alli is co-host of the new Curate Your Career podcast and frequently advocates for workforce wellbeing, equitable hiring practices, and professional development in the museum field.

Sara Phalen is a nonprofit attorney and museum director working in the western suburbs of Chicago. She is an advocate for equity in local history and small museums. In 2023 she worked with Juline Chevalier and Gretchen Jennings to publish "Nothing can be Changed Until it is Faced: Museum Solidarity Statements as Reflections of Understanding Systemic Racism" in the journal Curator and most recently published the article "Community Care: How Museums Can Respond to ICE Threats and Intimidation of Targeted Communities" on the MuseumsActTogether Substack.

Peyton Dauley is the New Bedford Whaling Museum's Marketing Coordinator. She assists with elevating the Museum's visibility through audience engagement, content creation, brand design, and the maintenance of a dynamic marketing and communications plans. Prior to working with NBWM, Dauley obtained her M.B.A and B.A. in American History from Clark University, and worked alongside institutions such as the Southwest Airlines Archives, the Worcester Art Museum, and the Martha's Vineyard Museum.

Annelise Conway is the New Bedford Whaling Museum's first Chief Engagement Officer, responsible for driving audience growth and deepening the Museum’s connections to the community, and providing leadership and oversight across marketing, communications, public programs, digital engagement, the 2026 expansion, and visitor experience. Previously, Conway served in various roles within philanthropy, marketing, and communications at non-profit and for-profit institutions including PwC, the New England Aquarium, the Providence Children's Museum, the Portland Museum of Art, Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Milton Academy.
